Terms and Cancellations

MB Driving School - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) outline the agreement between MB Driving School and the student.

By booking and undertaking driving lessons with MB Driving School, the Student agrees to abide by these T&Cs.

1. Driving Licence and Fitness to Drive
1.1. The Student must hold a valid provisional driving licence and present it to the Instructor at the start of their first lesson.
1.2. The Student must inform the Instructor of any endorsements on their licence.
1.3. The Student must be fit to drive, free from the influence of alcohol or drugs, and inform the Instructor of any medical conditions or medication that may affect their ability to drive safely.

2. Payments
2.1. All lessons must be paid for in advance or at the start of each lesson.
2.2. Payment methods accepted will be discussed and agreed upon with the Instructor.
2.3. Block booking payments are non-refundable once lessons have commenced, unless otherwise agreed in exceptional circumstances.

3. Cancellation Policy
3.1. The Student must give a minimum of 24 hours notice to the Instructor if they wish to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
3.2. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the Student will be liable for the full lesson fee.
3.3. The Instructor reserves the right to cancel a lesson at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., mechanical breakdown, illness, adverse weather conditions). In such cases, no fee will be charged, or a pre-paid lesson will be re-scheduled.

4. Punctuality and Lesson Duration
4.1. Lessons will start and finish at the agreed time and location.
4.2. If the Student is late, the lesson will still finish at the original scheduled time, and the lost time will not be made up.
4.3. The Instructor will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. If the Student does not arrive within this time, the lesson will be forfeited, and the full lesson fee will be charged.

5. Driving Tests
5.1. The Instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of the school vehicle for a driving test if, in their opinion, the Student is not at a safe or competent standard.
5.2. The Student must consult with the Instructor before booking a driving test.
5.3. Any driving test cancellation requires the same 24 hours notice as regular lessons to avoid being charged for the use of the car for the test.

6. Instructor’s Rights
6.1. The Instructor reserves the right to refuse a lesson if the Student is deemed unfit to drive or poses a risk to themselves or others.
6.2. The Instructor reserves the right to terminate a lesson early if the Student’s behaviour is inappropriate or unsafe.

7. Data Protection
7.1. All personal data will be held in accordance with current data protection regulations and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

8. Amendments to T&Cs
8.1. MB Driving School reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Students will be notified of any changes.

9. Governing Law
9.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction, e.g., England and Wales].
